Mitt liv i Thailand 2008-2009

Happy New year!

I went out from my room with my bag packed and everything because I were going to sleep over at Natalias house tonight. But when I got out from my room couldn’t I find my shoes, I called kun mae on my new phone and asked her where the hell my shoes were. She were in her room so she went out and she could see on my face that I was really irritated because she know I told all of them before that they weren’t allowed to use my shoes without asking me before(it have happened a hundreds of times). She called to my sisters and after 5 minutes came Poo and said that she was sorry.

At 17.00 I arrived to Big C and the first place I went to was the sushi place and I ordered 9 pieces to myself and after that walked I around in Big C until Natalia called me and told me she were soon there, she just came from Bangkok.

We went home to Natalias house and watched some movies I bought last week and later in the night we went to 7eleven to buy something to drink tonight, yeah it’s soon New Year so.

In Natalias room putted we on some make up and got dressed nice and took on our rabbit ears and when we got finish we went to her neighbours that were the family relatives. We ate dinner there and drank what we bought in 7eleven.

After a while we got so bored so we went back to Natalias house and watched a new movie and after the movie ended we went back there and sat there. We were in two houses and when New Year finally came was it soooo different than what I expected!

This as I saw with my eyes was something Swedish people would just laugh at because it was so silly. Nothing I can really describe with my own words. Well what can I say, yeah I got homesickness and I will look forward for the next years New Year.

Natalia and I went into her room just talking with each other and later on falled we a sleep.

Btw, the only thing we had that was fun were that I had bought Crazy Ribbon in Big C last week. Crazy Ribbons is like a spraybottle but instead of the spray coming out so was it like a colored ribbon. So funny, I made it on people and they got crazy at me, specially Natalia and her sister. Natalia was throwing water on me and other people and that was so funny.

We also got 20 Baht from one of the older persons that was there. But it was so stupid because we had to go down on our knees infront of them and put our hand in the thai position and so on. One question, why the hell do they do that on new year? Sorry if I’m being negative, but this is just so stupid for me, the family didn’t even allow us to go out somewhere, we HAD to be HOME.

At the end exactly when people stopped “the celebration” of the new year they told us to go to the temple to pray. I said that I didn’t want to go. To different and I don’t like it. I’m happy for the Swedish new year for sure now.

I got pissed of today at my host parents

Today was one of all those boring days with absolutely nothing to do, again.

Today I was wearing short pants and a armless-tshirt that had fabric hanging down both sides, but as clever as I am I took the fabric and covered my shoulders with it. Yeah you know the thai culture that I can’t let people see my shoulders and so on, so I really think that I were looking quite nice today, I liked it.

I was on my way on my bicycle to the post office to see if my packet from Sweden had arrived or not, so I spoke to Natalia while I went there. Suddenly drove a guy on the moped next to me trying to talk to me, I didn’t get anything until I saw that he had a big blue packet back on his moped, so I stopped and went back home again with the big blue packet under my arm while I were on the bicycle.

After I opened the presents I called my father and thanked all of them that sended me things and talked for a bit, I also sended a sms to my grandmother and aunt to thank them as well. I love all the gifts they gave me and I really do love the new phone W595 Sony Ericsson!

I was thinking about that I should go to Tesco and buy some nuddles, so I took 30 baht in my pocket and went off. When I got there didn’t they sell one my one because I had to buy a whole packet that cost 35-39 Baht, so I was like damn and when back home, but first I made a stop at kun yay and bought from her for 6 Baht each instead.

Later in the day came kun mae into my room and she did something that pissed me off a little bit. She asked me if I had been going out with this clothes I had on today all day long and I answered her of course yes that I had and then she looked strange at me and told me to turn around, I did that and then she told me that that was not polite at all and then she went out to the kitchen just like that. She called me to the kitchen, I came, I crossed my father and I were standing near kun mae.
Me = “Yes?”
Kun mae = “do you want to eat this soup?”

That was the most stupiest question she ever asked me, she had never asked me something like that before. I just knew why she called me to the kitchen, it was only because she wanted kun paa to see how I were dressed today. That’s pissed me off. Kun paa also told me after I went back to my room that I can go dressed like that at home, but not outside.

Internet point!

I woke up quite early this morning, took a yougurt, ate my penceline and later I went to my room to sleep again. Next time I woke up was like normal that the cute old lady came inside my room and started to talk to me in thai, didn’t understand a thing as usual. I went into the shower and after that out to buy something and to get to the internet point and sat there for many hours.

I ate an apple I bought, drank M-150(energy drink) and ate some snacks. I checked my email and some websites and the best thing was that I got to talk with Gaby.

It ended with me sitting in the internet point for 8 hours.

I just want to say thank you god. Thank you for letting me wake up without any kind of pain, felt so wonderful.

I really havn’t done much today, just being at home and watch movies, ate candy, slept and so on like any normal day. Ohh yeah I also washed my underwears, 45 in total.

The worse pain day in my whole day, ended with that I passed out.

Today was one of my boring days. I sat in my room doing nothing, the only thing I did were to watch a movie and write the diaries that I didn’t have the time to write it before so I did it today instead.

The most terrible thing that happened today for me started at 15.00 when I asked kun mae if we could go to the hospital because I started to get a terrible urininfecktion that really was killing me. My mom told me that we could but after some minutes she changed her mind and told me that we are going tomorrow instead. But in real I really really reeeally needed to go because it wasn’t a joke about that it hurted.

The pain grew bigger and bigger as the clock ticked and soon it was so strong that I started to cry so much, my body started to shake and I told kun mae once more that it was serious now and I really needed to go to the hospital, but then she took me on the moped and we went to a clinic instead. In the clinic did I have to give a urintest and after I left it did I have to run back to the toilet because it hurted so much to be standing so during the time I had to wait for the answer if it was urininfection or no spended I my time inside the toilet and refused to go away from there. Every time I stood up was it like someone would come with a knife and cutted me down there or something in that style, it’s like a feeling I can’t really explain.

I had this pain for the whole night, I tried to ignore it and think about something else while I lied down in my bed but it didn’t work and it didn’t want to disappear. The pain grew even more and at the end I passed out around 22.00. I had this pain for over 6 hours.

I really don’t understand how Natalia can have such a morning energy! We woke 7.30 in the morning because of my alarm at the phone started and when I turned it off started she to talk to me about almost everything while I nearly falled a sleep again because it was toooo early.

At noon we went down to the kitchen and ate some of my soup that I made at Christmas to my family, they liked it I hope.

Later in the day we went to the busstation because I had to go home to Chumsaeng again. On the way there looked everybody at us because I took my big teddy with me and when I got into the bus I took up two seats because my teddy were to big haha.

To take the bus to Chumsaeng use to take around 1 hour more of less, but this time took it 2 hours and that really was a pain in the ass. And when I got off from the bus couldn’t I walk my way home because I had chafed feet so I decided to take off my shoes and walk without instead.

At home didn’t I do so much as usual, talk with the family all night.

Went to N.W to meet Natalia and Alejandro

So today woke I up quite early without reason, I don’t remember exactly what time, before noon I went to the old house to wait for the bus to come, but I started to get a pain again in my genital area. I didn’t understand what it was, but something is it that really likes to hurt me, so before I went on the bus I ran up to my room and took some medicine.

I went to Natalias house and there I also met Alejandro(from Argentina) so we all chatted with each other and just had fun. After a while we went to Big C to eat some Swensen’s and to take some cute pictures together.

Back in Natalias house started we to watch a awesome movie together, a very very long movie though.

The worse thing that happen this day were at the night time when we were going out and we found one of the cats that always use to sit outside Natalias house were dead, a kitty, outside the gate. We all bet that it was some stupid person that broke the kitties neck and throw it to the gate. We took the kittie in a plastic bag and left it in a temple that’s quite near the house and after that went off to eat nuddles.

I also got really happy today because Jenny called me! And thank you Jenny for answering my question. I asked her what should be wrong with why my general area hurts and the answer to that is because I got urininfection. I had this pain for over a week without knowing what it is until now.

I falled a sleep on the floor this night, on the awesome big Christmas presents I got from Natalia!

Merry Christmas everybody.

This Christmas was totally different from all other Christmas days I ever had in my whole life! I will tell you!

I woke up 6.30 in the morning because the cute old lady came in to my room and took my dirty laundry to wash it, she also took the clothes that I was broken and I was suppose to repair so I had to get up and tell her that before it’s to late.

Next time I got up were the time around 10.00. I went in to the shower and after that I started my computer and watched the movie “The Muppets Christmasstory”, you know that I had to have something that felt like Christmas and winter.

When the movie ended called I to Natalia and spoke with her for like 2 hours, she talked a lot as usual and I didn’t have so much to say because it’s she that is speaking all the time, and I like it haha.

However I went to Tesco Lotus with Poo, we were going to buy things to me because I was going to do the Christmas dinner today so. In Tesco can’t I really understand that good or speak thai so, I had to ask Poo about everything and where I could find all the ingredients. One thing that was very irritating for me was to explain that I want COW MEET, I even explained for her how a cow sounds like, so she were sure whish one that was cow meet and when we got home again, what do you think Paa told me I got.............. I got PIG MEET. I told her maaaaany times that I wanted COW because I can’t have PIG. Omg, I got so irritated and I become so homesickness. However so went me, Poo and Paa back to Tesco and Paa helped me to get cow meet instead that was the right one.

Later in the day opened I the presents that my mom had sent to me, there were presents from my mother, grandfather, Lena, my sister and my uncle had bought to me. I loved the presents!

At 19.00 happen something special, my dear Gaby called me for the first time! I got so happy just to hear him and I started to cry immediately.

At 21.00 was our Christmas dinner finish and all of us got together and putted the dinner on the floor next to the tree. Kun Paa bought a Christmas tree today and fixed it. Everyone loved my soup that I had made and else had we all made quite much food so no one could eat the desserts.

After we ate finish opened we all the presents, everyone had their own presents next to them and then we all opened them at the same time. I got 3 belts that is very difficult to get in Thailand(what I been told) because it’s to hard to make them, I also got one black dress that were waaaay to big.

One thing
I told my family days before that we were all going to get together and eat dinner after 15.00 today. It was suppose to be a “family day” AND when the Christmas was suppose to come should we have nice or nicer clothes on because it’s not like a pyjamas party on Christmas if you know what I mean….

The end of it
As u could read ate we the dinner later than 21.00 and noooooo one had nice clothes, my sister had school uniform and the rest had like pyjamas on for example and they didn’t buy present for each other, they only bought presents for me and they didn’t buy to anyone else.

Today woke me and Poo up at 06.00 because at 07.00 were kun paa going to drive us to Poo’s school. Yeah it’s like this that I promised Poo that I would come with her to her schools christian show.

When we got there where everyone like druling and thinking “Ehhhhh, foreeeeeign person (druuuuuuling).” So irritating, it's like if if they never have seen a foreigner before.

The show my sister had wasn't anything special because it wasn't really anything with a christmas show to do with, they had nice clothes(make up and thai style of dresses) and hiphop/hrb sons that they danced to. But whatever, funny to see how thai people do it in their schools and how they "think" about it. But one thing for sure is that it's nothing like in Sweden.

In Poo's school were it also games there, like you could play "Bingo" and so on. And in every game it would always be a winner that wins something. The best thing I did in that school were that I payed 10 Baht(2kr) to get a was statue to paint on, I could choose to have human chape or cartoon, I choosed a wedding couple.

Around 14.00 went me and Poo away from the school to the Sushi place to eat some and after that the dessert at Swensen's, I payed. I also found the present I were looking for to Natalia and it turned out even better than I hoped for haha.

Christmas shopping with Natalia!

Today I got dressed in white, I took the dress Gaby gave me and when I got finish went to Nakhon Sawan to meet Natalia. We both went to Big C and ordered something to eat and had some good time. Later on went we off to buy Christmas presents to friends and families, and in the big mall decided I to buy teddy bears to my sisters and Natalia also found things for her families. And while we walked around we found some things we can have for New Year.

We also went to Natalias house and were there for a while and just took it easy and later in the day took I the last bus back home again.

I also realized that my camera worked when I tried to start it, so now it’s ok. But the only thing that got broken was the Anti-shake.

My sad day!

This is the most terrible day in my life so far, at least as it feels like. This morning when I woke up around 5.30 and realized that Gabys won’t come back and then I felt some tears.

Under the day have people been in my room trying to make me move to see if I’m alive and pushed me while I were lied there and cried. But I didn’t want go up, I didn’t have the power and the feeling to get up, I was to depressed and just lied in my bed tried to think about something else than Gaby, but it didn’t work. The only thing that were in my head were Gaby.

My sisters came into my room and gave me 2 balloons and she wrote “I love P.Kung” and “Gaby” on them.

At dinner I ate the food with the family quietly without anything to say, the only thing I said was “good food” and “thanks for the dinner” and then I went back to my room and did the same thing as before.

Goodbye Gaby, he is going back to Italy!

This morning woke I up and took a shower and after that I went down to the kitchen there Alis already sat and she gave me a strange bred I never seen before and it tasted really good. Not long after that we went to a foodplace and ordered food to take with home.

Later in the day I went back to Bangkok, took goodbye to Alis and met Gaby at Siam Paragon. We decided to be there all day long. Gaby bought a sooo cute little Chinese cat to me. ^^ After a while we met Natalia and her friend so we spended our time with them for a while. But at 18.00 we went to the skytrain and then to Gabys hotel with all the other Italian people.

Me and Gaby had a special time together talking and so from 19.00 to 21.00. When we saw how much the time were we went out to eat something, we ate nuddles. After we had finished eating we went to 7eleven to buy something. 1 beer, 1 packet of serial, 2 milk and 2 different kind of chips. When we got back to the hotel we ate the serial and drank the milk and some beer.

We didn’t really look at the time, but when we saw that the time started to be 23.00 so started we to pack our things and went down to the minivan where all the other already were.

Next place, the airport. Terrible feeling for me, knowing that today, this last hours will be the last time I will see Gabriele for a loooooong time, I don’t know when I will meet him next time or anything. For me were it to try to not cry. I didn’t cry anything, but my eyes were full of tears as many of them saw that were there. I were depressed and I didn’t want to let Gaby go. Of course people took pictures and so on. My family and Gabys family came and took goodbye.

But when the time came. Ohh god, the terrible time came. People started to hug me, one of the Italian girl were crying so much and when she hugged me I felled some tears, but fast after I dryed my tears away. Now it’s it. Saying goodbye, the last thing I did were to say goodbye to Gaby, he got my goodbye gift just some minutes before, his goodbye gift were Swedish candy. Everyone know I love candy so. ^^

After Gaby left, or, after we let our hands go from each other I cryed so much that I just turned around, hugged Alejandro (the emo guy) and cryed aloooot on his cholders. Then we left the airport, at sadly 01.07.

Gaby and I went to Bangkok and I got to meet Alis for the first time!

Yesterday night decided Gaby and I that we were going to Bangkok together, he were going to his goodbye camp and I were going to Alis(a girl that was exchange student in my city and lived with the family Ingebrant). Gaby and I went into a minivan and also his friend from yesterdays dinner went with us. We took up 3 seats in the minivan because of all his bags that he is going to take back home to Italy haha.

In Bangkok took we goodbye because he was going to see an AFSer so I went off to meet Alis at Siam Paragon. I took a taxi to the skytrain and went into Paragon to meet Alis. We met each other and started to walk to a table there her mother, left her things and ordered some food. For me so was it really nice to meet Alis and I like her and her family so far.

After a while came Gaby back to Siam Paragon because the AFSer had been there, but he just went off without waiting for him. I really don’t understand the AFS people here, because now Gaby got a free day to do whatever instead.

At 16.00 went Alis, her family and I to their house. One thing that’s for sure is that I’m really jealous at her house, its soooo beautiful.

The time I had with you Alis is something I won’t forget, it was nice to spend time with you and I thank you so much to letting me sleep over.

This day, this is the last day for Gaby in Chumsaeng, Nakhon Sawan!

In the morning woke I up around noon knowing that Gaby had already went off to school, his last day. I was also suppose to be there, but of course didn’t my mom want to wake me up and she told me that I couldn’t go, so I got quite irritated at her because of that.

Today were I with Gaby almost all day long, I helped him to clean and helped him to pack his things into a big box that after went to the postoffice. His box were quite big and I didn’t think at first that it would be full, but it got full and in total was it 18kg and it wasn’t that expensive to send it, just around 2000 Baht and it will take around 1 month until he will get it.

During the evening went we all to Gabys family and ate dinner together. Gaby got presents from his family, teachers and one of his friends.

For me is it a pain in the ass, to know that this is the last day I might see him for years.

Bye bye Phuket, hello Bangkok and Nakhon Sawan!
We also took a tuk-tuk from Nakhon Sawan to Chumsaeng (40km)

Today woke Gaby and I up at 5 in the morning, packed our bags and went off with a taxi around 6am and took us to the airport for 800baht.

The flight took us 1 hour until we arrived to Bangkoks airport. Gaby and I took a free bustrip to get to the busstation. But we didn’t know how to get there for sure, because the bus we took didn’t really stop at where we thought, so we and two others followed a thai guy to the subway and he also told us after that how we should go.

At the busstation they told us different times that we could go home, so we decided whish time we should take and got 2 tickets for 18.40. We also payed money to put all our bags in place at the busstation so we didn’t have to carry it with us.

Else, what did we do in Bangkok, yeah we went around in Siam Paragon and just chilling around, after that we met Natalia, her friend and her friends father.

At 18.40 sat we on the bus and went back to Nakhon Sawan, it took 3 hours.

When we got to Nakhon Sawans busstation were there of course no buses, minivans or anything left. So Gaby and I decided to take a tuk-tuk back to Chumsaeng. And I promise you that that was noooooot nice, it was blowing really cold and it were really uncomfortable.

A daytrip to Koh Similan Island. The most beautiful beach in the whole world!

Today were also an early morning as the other days of being in Phuket, but today we were going to Kho Similan Island.

The minivan came and picked us up and went to another beach this time. While we waited for the boat gave the guide us some snacks and something to drink, for me I took the snacks and 2 cups of warm chocolate with a looot of sugar and milkpowder. The boat got ready and we all went onboard, the boat wasn’t really that big, and not that small either and inside the boat gave they us Pepsi and water if we wanted during our whole trip.

Our boat drove really fast on the ocean and the waves were between really really big and really small so after a while got I seasick and started to feel really bad and after 1 hour and 10 minutes went I from the back of the boat to the front. Some of the waves were so big so it ended that the boat were jumping in the air, and it happen a couple of times.

After 1 hour and 45 minutes in the boat did we finally arrive to Kho Simila Island and the water there were so clean, so unbelievable clean. The only thing that was negative thing was that the corals were dead also here. But the awesome thing were that the were millions of fishes everywhere and I could also see down around 700 m down in the water to the bottom. I also got to see a turtle swimming next to me and the boat. The guide told us to not be afraid because it’s not dangerous, but not touch it.

After being in this place with snorkling went we all back into the boat and went off for 5 minutes to the next place, that was the REAL Kho Similan Island. The beach there is famous because of it’s beauty with white sand and totally blue water. The guide told us all that we had 1 hour for free time to do whatever, we could swim in the water or go up to the mountain to look at the view. Gaby and I decided to clime up there and on the way took we a lot of pictures.

After being on the mountain we went down to the beach, took some more pictures and later on we went into the water again to take a swim for a while, but it didn’t take long before the guide told us to get back to the boat again. Back in the boat were the waves more stronger than last time and the boat were jumping even more.

At night time were I dressed in all white, and Gaby and I had a special night together because this night is going to be the last time I will have with him before he goes back to Italy again.



The real Kho Similan Island!!!!

Our daytrip to Coral Island, to dive!!

Today we woke up as early as yesterday and made our self totally sure that we were going to the right trip today, to Coral Island, to be diving. The minivan came and we went to the same beach as yesterday to get on board our boat that today was a speedboat. It took only 15 minutes to get to Coral Island.

The beach had white sand and it really was beautiful and warm over there. We went with the other people to a cafeteria place and listened to information that out guide gave us, we also got to know that Gaby and I were the only people that was going to dive, the rest were just going to snorkling.

The stuff gave us the diving clothes and Gaby went off to the ocean because he had already been diving before so I got to be in the pool with another guide to learn how to dive and how to breath and handle other things and what to do if something will go wrong while I’m under the water.

After I finished was it around 45 minutes left before Gaby would come back from his diving trip, so I had some free time to do whatever I wanted. I tried to lay down in the sun to get some colour on my skin, but I got sick of it so I were there for only 5 minutes. The stuff came and told me that if I wanted to should they give me snorkel things for free to swim out if I wanted, I accepted their offer and went out.

In the ocean saw the fishes that there were millions of, but unfortunately was all the corals dead. I saw of course some that was alive, but that wasn’t much at all.

After lunch time came out guide to us and told us that it was time for us to get out diving in the ocean, so Gaby and I got dressed in our divingclothes again, got all our equipment on and went down in the salty water.

While I was in the water felt I that I really wanted to go back up because the air I was breathing is not really like real air, so it was so unusual. But I told myself that I can do this, I just have to be use to breathing this air. Also another thing that you have to make sure to fix while you are under the water is to make sure you don’t get water into the syklope, and that happened hundreds of time so it was just to fix. You also have to make sure to hold on to your nose and press the air out so you don’t get the pressure in your ears, that happens as deeper down you does under the water. As deeper as we went saw we loads of fishes and I also got to see the Nemo fish and the place they live in. I also got to see some living corals this time, awesome!

In the evening me and Gaby went to Patong beach to go to a mall because we have been told that I can find Swedish and foreign food and ingredients there. After Gaby and I found things we needed and also a bit more sat we outside in the middle of the outside mall that was quite near a fountain and we ate some bred, ham and cheese that Gaby had bought inside there. And when we were finish took we a tuk-tuk back to our hotel.

The wrong trip so we got to see James Bond Island today instead,
canoeing, jumping from the boat, saw caves.

At 06.00am woke we up and made ourself ready for 1 hour until the minivan would come and pick us up. And at 7 came the minivan to our hotel and it sat 4 other Italian people in the car so that was a big joy for Gaby it seemed like.

So when we got out from the minivan and into the big boat did we realize something, we were suppose to be diving today and now we were on the trip we were suppose to have about two days. So we talked with our guide and told him everything and we got to change the plan we had for our trips, but everything went fine in the end and we went on this trip to James Bond Island.

On our way to James Bond Island saw we a lot of high mountains going up from the ocean and it looked pretty awesome!. After 1 hour did the boat finally stop and we all got to change boat to a small tale boat that took us to the beach of the James Bond Island.

To be honest though I that the island were suppose to be a lot of bigger than it was, but I havn’t seen the movie so I just though it was suppose to. One thing I really didn’t like with the island were the market that was in the middle of the island. They were trying to sell everything alllll the timeeee and took my arm so I would look, try and buy it, telling me how nice it is, sooo I didn’t even want to look at the things because of this.

Back on the long tail boat again and back to the big boat there we would eat our lunch and be going back to Phuket another way than what we came from and we were suppose to stop on many places where we could go around and look at the beaches and paddle canoe.

The first stop we had after James Bond Island were at a place where everyone got to sit in a canoe boat with one thai person that was telling us things about the mountains and so on. Gaby, a thai guy(guide) and I got one canoe and started to paddle around. But Gaby and I were most of watching and listening to what he told us. We also got to see a strange sea animal that I never seen before, quite creepy.

We also saw that one of the Italian guys that were in the boat with us stood at the top of the boat and just jumped down in the water, looked fun!

The canoe thai guy told us a lot of things, he took us to a cave that had two ends, but the cave were so full of water so if we wanted to get to the other side did we have to lie down in the canoe and push us to the other side. Kind a creepy to know that we were under the mountain. So when we got to the other side got we to see a jumping fish! The guy took it up and showed us and he told us that it was living in and on the water so it was jumping around, I also hold it. But I throwed the fish away because the guy scared me when he throwed water on me.

After we came out from the dark cave again back on the big boat side decided Gaby and I to jump of the canoe and swim back, so we did that.

The last stop we got before we went back to Phuket again was near a beautiful beach. We all got to do what we wanted and Gaby and I took an canoe on our own and went further away than where the big boat were. We found a big beach/cave and it looked awesome! It looked like the cave would be a fake one from a movie, but it was not. The only thing that was bad was the beach didn’t really have sand but instead it was seashells, so it wasn’t that nice to be walking in. But we picked up a lot of seashells that wasn’t broken and saved them in the boat so we could take them back home.

Before the big boat started took I one last change and went up to the top of the boat and jumped down into the water. And later got we back to the boat and back to Phuket there the minivan came and took us back to our hotels.

Bought 3 different daytrips and later on the day at the beach!

Aha, so today it´s the Santa Lucia day, but unfortunately wasn't it something special, just a normal day, exept that we were in Phuket of course. ^^

Around 10.00 checked Gaby and I out from the hotel and went to the hotels internet place and sat there for some hours before we left to the new place.

So at the new hostel that we found yesterday checked we in and after that went we to an information place there you can look for different type of trips around Phuket. We found 3 different trips that we liked and the total sum about these trips it’s 6300 Baht per person, very cheap for what else we had found.

Later on the day we went to the beach and were there for hours just swimming around and having a good time. And at dinner ate we in a Italian reastaurant.

600 Baht = hotel.
6300 Baht per person = Daytrips

Going to Phuket!!

Gaby and I woke up early in the morning and while I went into the shower took Gaby the moped back to the shop and then packed we our things and checked out from the hotel and went off with a tuck-tuck to the airport. At 12.30 we were on the plane and on our way to Phuket, wohooo here we come!!!

When we arrived we went to an information place and asked for the cheapest hotel in Phuket, and we got one in Karon beach! The hotel cost us 1200Baht per night and it was really close to the beach.

In the hotel chilled we for a while and later on we went to the beach and took a swim while it was sunset and when we got back to the hotel again took we an shower and when out to search for a Swedish reastaurant and we found one! I ordered “grillspätt med bernaisesås” and it was sooooo goooood!!! And it cost us just 555 Baht and they gave us whiskey for free!

We went out and looked around how much different hotel, motel and hostels cost per night, we found from 200 baht up to 1000 baht! And the rooms looked good so we decided to change hotel tomorrow to a place that cost 600 Baht, and it’s a Swedish owner.

555 Baht = Food.
1200 Baht = hotel.
180 Baht = taxi.

Our first day trip!
Flower place, people with long necks, elephant riding, eating elephant eggs,
woodwalking, drafting and bamboosticksboat!

So early in the morning went Gaby and I down and waited for a kind of taxi that were gonna pick us up and take us to your day trip.

In the taxi we were 5 people. Gaby, a norweigan woman, two thai womans and me. And we all were going on the same trip.

The first stop we had were “Local wild orchids collection” and there we got to see a lot of flowers and so on. Nothing special if you ask me. The second stop we did after that were much more interesting, the place we went to were a village there people with long neck lived, btw so is it only girls that can have the long neck thing, guys can’t have it. But not only that either, there lived also people that have something else instead of long necks very near them. The people that had different were people that had for example a huge thing in the ear so the ear should be bigger.

The people that had the long neck doesn’t leave the village because if they go to the town or anything do everyone always want to take pictures with them and so on, so they perfer to stay in the village.

The third place were a village there we could ride elephant. And this time were it more awesome because I got to sit ON the elephant, I sat on the elephants neck and I had my hands on it head while it were walking because else it felt like I were going to fall off. When it was Gaby’s turn to sit made our guide a handmade crown and gave it to me, that was kind of cute of him. ^^

So then it was dinnertime. We went to another village and the food that we got were for free and it was rice with something. After I ate up half of my plate came the guide and told us that we were now eating “elephant eggs”!!!!!! And I do know that elephants doesn’t have eggs, so I do not wanna know what type of “eggs” it is! But it was…. good I guess.

So when we ate finish went we into the car again and sat there around 40 minutes until we got to the place we were going to woodwalk. When we got there and went into the woods was it totally awesome! A real aisan forest! We were suppose to be walking for some km and it was just like a game for me because I were running and jumping around until we got there. The first break we had that were half way took we something to drink and shoot some “slangbella”.

At the end of the walking so came we to a waterfall and that was the end station, so there were we resting our legs for a while, took pictures in the water with the waterfall and so on. So on our way back down to the car again got we to see everything twice. But something that was kinda funny was that the guide and me were competing against each other who was the fastest person down! Guess who won? ME! :D

So the second last place we went to the rafting place, the only thing we had on were the clothes we were suppose to be rafting in, we couldn’t have shose on, no yewellery if we would drop them and we all putted on the helmet and a life-jacket. In the rafting boat sat me and Gaby at the front of the boat and the guide we had behind us gave us a lot of orders about how we would do and that we had to listen and follow him what he say. He only said like one or two words so would we know what to do. The water were very cold like if I would be back in Sweden, but it was awesome to be out rafting for the first time.

When we went off the rafting boat and took off the life-jacket and helmet and went we on our last thing that was on a treeboad that looked most of if someone would put some treesticks together, like bambootree. The water were so cold so I sat down for just a while and later were I standing up so I didn’t have to feel the cool water in my ass all the time.

So when we came back to our hotel and into the shower and after that we went out for dinner, to Subway, that everyone know that I loooooove (NOT). After Subway we went to an Italian restaurant because I wasn’t full after Subway.

A normal relaxing day in Chiang Mai!

I woke up at 7am because Kun mae called to me, but I was to tired to talk and kind of gone in my head so the only thing I do remember was that I gave the phone to Gaby instead. So later on in the afternoon we went out somewhere around Chiang Mai with our rented moped. We looked around in a lot of different temples that was in a special area, kind of boring for me, but good that Gaby got me to do it, because it's still a memory that I have been there and so on.

Around 3pm went Gaby and I to an hair saloon so that Gaby could cut his hair and colour it and it turned out awesome, I loved his hair when it was finish, really cool hair. The next stop after that were at a massage place that cost us 200 Baht each for 1 hour, and the result of that turned out really good and relaxing.

So after our Japaneese dinner we went back to the moped rent place to rent it again for one more day, so we had to pay 360 Baht again. In the evening went Gaby and I to a huge night market, we parked the moped and where there for a long time, looked around. One thing that we found that was very interesting was that people could take pictures and get dressed in Thai clothes in a awesome way, interesting to see. We also got to a place and drank wine for 30 Baht each glas, we also got 2 for free because I gave the shop-owners friend two difficult riddles.

400 Baht = Massage.
550 Baht = Dinner
360 Baht = Moped.
20 Baht = Gasoline.

Bought a ticket to Phuket for only me and Gaby!

When we checked out from the motel we were waiting for kun maes cousin to come because he told us yesterday that he could drive us where ever we wanted for a cheap price. But he called my parents and told them that he couldn’t come so instead of that came my parents and picked us up and drove us to the umbrella place and later took goodbye to us because me and Gaby would have our own trip, we were allowed to.

When the cousin came and picked us up drove he Gaby and I to the airport because we were going to look for a cheep ticket to go to Phuket without our passports and as lucky as we was could we go without it but we had to show our ID cards. So we bought a flight-ticket that also were return, from Chiang mai - Phuket and Phuket - Bangkok for 10 960 Baht for both me and Gaby. (1 person for 5 480 Bath).

After the airport went Gaby and I to the new hotel Gaby found for 180 Baht per night in his book. In the hotel did we just leave our things and went down to the restaurant to order something to eat. After we finished our dinner we went to an information place that they had at the hotel and checked what kind of trips they had for a good price, and we found one really good trip with many things to do in for 2400 Baht, we booked it to the 11^th.

At the hotel packed Gaby and I all our landry that we had and went to a place where they would wash it for 40 Baht and it would take one day before we would get it back. One thing that were really funny and it was Gabys idea that we would rent a moped, of course I did agree to it so we went to rent a manual moped for 360 Baht per day.

After a long time of driving the moped everywhere we went to a kind of market and looked around and bought some things. I bought 1 bracelet, shoes and one computer bag that was awesome.

Chiang maiiiii!!!! =D
Umbrella, Hot spring, accident, -8, highest spot in Thailand, Motel.

So this morning when we woke up didn’t any of us take a shower because we were freezing so much. We checked out from the hotel and went into the car and drived to a place in Chiang Mai, and that’s quite a famous place. First we went to an umbrella place that has a lot of umbrella that is handmade and painted as you would like them in any size or type.

I bought two present from there to two of my friends in Sweden and of course I bought an normal sized umbrella to myself. I also gave my camera to one of them that works there to paint a picture on it, good result.

We went to Sankampaeng hot spring. That's a place where the water comes up of the ground. But before we saw that we got some eggs to take with us there were we bought the ticket and later we were on the small market and my mum bought some things from there, when we went to the hot spring they had like a long river of water from the hot spring that was going somewhere. However so took I and Gaby some pictures first of the hot spring and after that I decided to go and put my feets in the river next to my sister. Ok now you will know that I had an accident, it was like, hmmmm, I don't like to tell this but, I dropped my new camera in the hot spring while i putted my feets down.

However when that happened I took up my camera the fastes I could and I was running to my bag and took out the towel and dryed my camera and took out the memorycard and the battery. When we finished in the hot spring went we off to Thailands highest mountain. The first stop we did were at the half way up at a huge market that was freezing. One thing that suppriced me that I saw was that everyone had jeans and a fat jacket on, I really wished I had one with me.

The second stop we did were almost on the top, but it were at a temple, this place were alooooot more cooler, I really wanted to put on a really fat jacket and jeans, but I didn't have so it was just to freeze then. In the temple it were so cold that I know it were something around -8 C or even more! We took some pictures and later we went all into the car as fast as we could.

4 km more up on the mountain was our last stop. But this time didn’t Kun mae follow us others out, so we others were walking into the woods and took pictures, now we were on the highest spot in Thailand. Btw so was it’s a wonderful forrest there.

Back on earth again we went to eat nuddles and later we went to kun mae’s cousins house where we could sleep over the night, but we had to sleep in a tree-house without anything, a real old thai house if you understand. We decided that we didn’t went to spend the night over there so we checked into a motel for 300 Baht. No one in my family wanted to sleep in the motel exept Paa, but it ended with me and Gaby sleeping there and my family slept somewhere else.

Frös som in i den, åkte till någon marknad, red på en elefant för första gången!

Klockan 4 på morgonen var vi tvungna att checka ut på grund av någon anledning som jag inte kommer ihåg. När jag kom in i duschen så ångrade mig pga att det var som att duscha i isvatten, eller ja 2 C, kun mae tog ingen dusch pga det.

När vi kom till bilen frös hela familjen, förutom jag och Gaby, vi tyckte de var rätt så OK. I bilen satt vi jag vet inte hur länge, men efter ett tag så öppnade kun paa fönstret och då blåste det kallt som jag vet inte va, så efter att han öppnat det där fönstret frös jag i mer än 2 timmar i bilen utan filt eller något. Jag satt med leggings och en klänning i bilen. När vi kom fram så var vi en stad som heter Lampura (nästan mitt Thainamn; Lampaa haha)

Hur som helst var vi på den där marknaden som vi åkte till för att vi var tvungna, kun mae var tvungen att få tag på 3 papper underskrivna om att vi hade varit där pga våran skola. Fatta va tråkigt, satt där i över 4 timmar och väntade, inget jag vill åka till igen.

Senare på dagen så åkte vi till ett elefant ställe och kollade på en elefantshow och efter det red jag och Gaby på en elefant tillsammans, wiiiiiii. En sak för säkert är att man kan verkligen tro att man är nära att ramla bak- eller famlänges när man åker för säkert. Hahah. Efter vi hade varit på elefantstället åkte vi till ett annat ställe och gick runt på en marknad i ungefär 1 timme.

Tillbaka till ett nytt hotell så vart jag tvungen att dela rum med kun mae och Paa, medan Gaby, Poo och kun paa tog ett annat rum. Min familj har däremot glömt sin tandkräm så dom stal min och sen gömmer dom den någonstans så att jag inte kunde hitta den.

Åkte till Chiang Rai och upp på något berg!

Som sagt var så hade jag rätt igår, vi skulle åka klockan 3 på morgonen, men så vart vi såklart en timme sen, så vi började åka iväg klockan 4, så vem var det som hade rätt? Haha. Tidigt på morgonen åkte vi iväg med min familjs bil, kun mae satt i sätet där fram, kun paa körde, åt höger till vänster i baksätet satt Paa, Poo, jag och Gaby. Gud så obekvämt, men det som var bra var i alla fall att jag fick luta mig mot Gabys axel och sova med benen på hans ben.

När vi började vakna upp så var vi bara några mil från Chiang Rai. (Chiang Rai ligger i toppen av Thailand precis på gränsen till det andra landet där uppe). Coolt hehe. Först när vi klev ur bilen så var vi på en slags marknad, det var fullt av människor där, kun mae berättade att alla var här för att dom ville ha besked eller något så att dom får gå över till de andra landet, det var bara 100 meter eller något ifrån över en bro.

Efter vi hade varit där så åkte vi upp till kungens mammas ställe där hon brukade gå runt och gick på en rundtur i hennes enorma hus och sedan till den as stora och vackra trädgården.
Under den turen när vi var på berget som kungahuset var på så köpte jag 3 olika Thailändska skulpturer för 650 Baht, as snygga, men just nu tänker jag; Hur ska jag få hem dom här till Sverige egentligen, för dom är så tunga?

Klockan slog 18.00 när vi satte oss i bilen och började köra nerför berget som en slalombacke, det som var roligt med detta var att kun paa tappade bort sig så han körde fel på berget hahahahha. Det var också 3 bilar bakom oss som följde efter, vi hade åkt totalt fel, för istället för att åka ner så åkte vi plötsligt upp haha. När vi kom tillbaka till staden igen så gick vi på en nattmarknad ett tag och chillade runt lite. Jag ville köpa 2 saker från den marknaden, men Gaby ville också ha de, så jag lät honom få dom istället för mig. Hur som helst så har hela dagen varit mycket kall 8 C* och mindre, jag hade på mig tjocktröja men jag frös ändå. Just nu när jag skriver detta så är klockan 23.20 och jag antar att det är nått omkring 2 C* eller så ute.

Ändrade planer som vanligt!

Jag vaknade upp ett antal gånger idag pga att min familj gjorde så mycket oljud, t ex så höjde dom stereon till högsta volym snabbt ett par gånger, rätt så irriterande. Så jag vaknade upp varje timme med liknande varje gång och efter 5 timmar så klev jag upp och märkte jag att alla hade åkt ifrån mig som vanligt utan att berätta.

Vi skulle egentligen åka till Chiang Rai idag vid 12.00, men såklart ändrade min familj på planerna och så vart det så att vi skulle åka klockan 00.00 på natten, men senare på kvällen så ändrade dom planen igen, så då bestämde dom sig att vi skulle åka klockan 3 på morgonen. Dröm vidare, det blir troligen så då att vi blir en timme sen eller något då haha. Hur som helst under dagen som var packade jag min väska, städade till lite i rummet och när Gaby kom så kollade vi på film till klockan vart 22.30 på natten.


Gabys värdbror och Crazy-dog!!

Vakna upp av massange, kinesiska marknaden och preminärnatten i det nya huset!

Vaknade upp av att den söta tanten kom in i rummet, ingen annan var där, hon började prata med mig och jag fattade ingenting för jag var så morgontrött. Men plötsligt då så tog hon min hand och började ge mig hand massage och efter det så flyttade hon sig runt om min kropp för att ge mig massage, så sammanlagt fick jag massage på händer, armar, fötter och benen, tänka sig att man vakna upp med massage. Efter jag hade vaknat upp av den härliga massagen så ville hon att jag skulle gå ner, hon gav mig frukost och så fick jag sitta bredvid kun yay och äta maten. När jag hade ätit klart åkte jag och den söta tanten moped med min "morbror" till det nya huset och var där ett bra tag.

Senare på kvällen vid 19.00 så bjöd Gabys mamma mig och Gaby att gå till den kinesiska marknaden för att äta mat där, såklart svarade jag ja att jag ville det, men det vart lite konflikter innan jag kom iväg från mitt hem. Kun mae var så komplicerad. Sammanlagt så kom jag över 35 minuter för sent pga att kun mae var så seg. En sak för säkert är i alla fall att kun mae kan verkligen inte passa tider för säkert.

I natt så var det så att jag och hela familjen fick sova i det nya huset. Så idag var premiärnatten. ;)


Mitt nya sovrum!!!!!

Flyttar in i det nya huset!

När jag och Natalia vaknade upp vid 10 tiden på morgonen ringde vi först Gaby och frågade vad dom höll på med, då fick vi också reda på att Daniel hade redan åkt från Chumsaeng utan att säga nått till Natalia, dom skulle egentligen ha åkt tillsammans. Så 45 minuter senare åkte Natalia iväg och efter hon åkt bjöd kun yay(mormor) mig på friterade bananer som smakade hur gott som helst!

Senare på dagen åkte jag och Gaby hem till mig och hjälpte till med familjen att flytta in alla saker från det gamla huset in till det nya. Pust och stön, vi var sammanlagt 5 personer som flyttade alla saker. Alla mina saker var nerpackade och allt åkte med bilen och lämnades i de nya huset, även min säng förstörde dom och byggde ihop den i de nya huset, så till slut hade jag inget kvar i det gamla rummet och i huset.

Vart skulle jag sova i natt? Jo jag skulle sova i kun mae's rum med henne. Men före jag gick tillbaka till det gamla huset så åkte jag och Gaby till den kinesiska marknaden och var där ett tag, sedan åkte vi hem till Gabys hus och sen till mig igen. När jag gick till översta våningen som var mitt och kun mae's rum så såg jag att kun mae's rum var helt svart. Jag tog en dusch och fixade till mig och efter det smög jag in till kun mae's rum. Hela hennes rum var helt svart och hon vaknade inte när jag ropade på henne, inte visste jag heller vart jag skulle sova i rummet, så då istället gick jag ut och satte mig ner på det tomma golvet i mitt rum och började kolla på en Svensk film. Efter halva filmen hade gått så hörde jag att kun mae's dörr öppnades och att kun mae ropade på mig om jag var hemma och att jag skulle komma och sova. I rummet så låg jag på ena kanten i sängen och jag fick dela filt med en jätte söt tant.
